Mortgage Information Station

Hi, we received your flyer about a year ago regarding mortgages and we'd like to discuss our situation with someone. We own 2 properties, one is mortgage free with an approximate value of $285,000. Our primary house has approximately $120,000 in equity. We have a large line of credit, a loan and some credit cards. We would like to apply for a mortage on the 2nd house to cover all our debts in order to reduce our interest payments. We have a renter in the 2nd house and see no concerns in the future regarding renters since it is about a 40 minute drive to where the new Toyota plant is in Woodstock. It's a 4 bedroom, 2 full bath house with lots of parking and a large lot. My husband's credit is not in good shape, but mine is mint. We have never missed a mortgage payment in 20 years.
